DePauw University senior Brittany L. Slate has been named DePauw University "Big of the Year" for 2012 by Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Indiana. Her honor is noted in the Bloomington Herald-Times. The awards "are presented annually to volunteer mentors who have gone above and beyond the call to action."
