April 25, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — At the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's golf tournament, held over the weekend in Horseshoe Bay, Texas, "DePauw University won the team title with a score of 964. Centre
finished with a 989," reports Kentucky's Danville Advocate-Messenger. "Paige Gooch of DePauw was the individual winner
with a 235."
Gooch was named the SCAC Player of the Year and the Freshman of the Year. The championship was the program's second straight and seventh in the last 10 years. The Tigers have now qualified for their 10th straight NCAA Division III Championship appearance.
