The cyber attack on Sony Pictures, which has led the studio to mothball The Interview, a $44 million film that was set to open on Christmas Day, is troubling to several media analysts, including Jeffrey M. McCall. The professor of communication at DePauw University tells the San Jose Mercury News, "Hollywood really needs to sort out what this all means. I am quite surprised that an industry that should be standing for free expression has given in."
