'Career Coach' Cited in Story on Hard-to-Fill Jobs

65176August 22, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — An article headlined "Jobs that are hard to fill -- even in 2011," which appears in several newspapers, includes several comments from Steve Langerud, director of professional opportunities at DePauw University.

John Rossheim writes, "In 2011, more and more employers are depending on information systems to help find new business and drive down costs." Langerud offers, "More companies than ever are hiring IT people. It's creating demand in areas that no one expected."

Langerud also comments on opportunities in sales and for teachers, saying of the latter, "The shortage is in hard-to-fill positions in hard-to-work places that are short on money." 67878
