October 4, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw University will welcome the British National Debate Team to campus this week for a public debate on Thursday, October 6. The British team will face off against DePauw debaters at 4 p.m. in the auditorium of the Percy Lavon Julian Science & Mathematics Center. The two sides will consider the resolution, "The USA should end the war on drugs." DePauw will
govern on the resolution, and the British will oppose.
"The British debaters are among the best in the world, and it is quite an honor that DePauw was competitively selected to host them this year," says Geoff Klinger, associate professor of communication and director of forensics at DePauw University.
