November 29, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — "Student-run DePauw University radio station WGRE (91.5 FM) recently donated $300 to the Putnam County Public Library's Dolly Parton 'Imagination Library' project," notes a caption to a photograph published in the Banner-Graphic of Greencastle. "Hadley Key (right) presents a check for $300, collected in the radio station fundraiser, to library director Alice Greenburg."
It continues, "Through a national program founded by Parton, children receive books monthly in the mail. The program, which is open to children from birth to age five, is free to participants. However, it takes support from the community to keep it going with $25 per year necessary to support each child's participation."
