A story in the Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel notes, "Jacquet, an attorney and legislative assistant to Rep. Mack Bernard, D-West Palm Beach, said he is motivated to run by the turning economy and a changing Delray Beach ... Jacquet, who speaks four languages, studied economics at Depauw University in Indiana and University of Westminster in London. He graduated with a law degree from St. Thomas University in Miami where Dean Bob Butterworth sparked his interest in public service."
